A word from the Publisher
I wish I could say I have always lived
my life by what I write...
but, with God’s help, thankful I didn’t wait too late to start.
When these are the ways of your life, don’t be surprised when they persecute you and say all manner of evil against you:
On you pathway to forever hold on to
Jesus and not the doctrines and traditions of men...
work everyday as if it were your first and treat the lives you touch as if it was your last.
Love thy neighbor as thyself and even those that despitefully use you....
hate is not a choice....
seek out those in need....remembering he that delivers with one hand will always gather with two.
Turn away from the social crowd and their fruitless pursuit of fame and fortune.
Close all doors and never look back on your child like behavior of greedy ambitions and desires.
Start in a new direction and let the fresh breeze dry your tears of failures and misfortune....
stop and commune with The Almighty and rest your heavy load and burdens on Him....be at peace... and content with what has been your lot in life and give thanks for what you have here in the earthly life knowing that it is only a blink between two eternities.
Let not you heart be trouble. Fear not, nothing can hurt you except yourself ....do that which you dread with your head held high.
Be cautious of your time....it is your greatest treasure, be jealous of it....to be everywhere is to be nowhere.
Always be ready to reconsider your goals...to see if they are approved of God or man.
Happiness is not obtained by a lot of possessions. Love your family and count your blessings....reflect how you would miss them if they were not there.
Put aside your impossible dreams and complete the God given task at hand. All good things comes only by working and patiently waiting.
Hold on...God’s delays are never God’s denials.... hold fast knowing that your paymaster is always near...
What you sow, good or evil, you will reap.
You are what you are through your choices....Never blame your condition on others.
If it be your lot in life, learn to live with honest poverty and look for ways to help others instead of the making of money and transporting it to the grave.
Never look for trouble or meet it half way or add tomorrow’s burdens to todays’ ...
Don’t be a murmurer or complainer about your defeats, you wouldn’t have them if you didn’t need them, instead give thanks for what you have.
Don’t be a know-it-all, learn from others. He who teaches himself has a fool for a master.
Do not overload your conscious...conduct you life as if in an arena filled with gossipers. Avoid being the braggart.... boasting of your accomplishments .....
and all that you see that would cause you to be puffed up with pride repent it up and humble thyself before The Lord.
Be not wise in your own eyes, but ask thy God for wisdom in all matters and realize that all men are not created equal....
yet remember that no man was ever born whose work was not born with him.
Remember to give thanks to God in all things.
Amen.
