*a popular song during the fifties...relating how many of the working people, especially coal miners, had to go into debt to the stores owned by the companies they were working for....they were so in debt for the necessities of life that they could not quit or change jobs, excepting death, and most times the surviving families had to assume responsibilities for the debts. "St. Peter don'tcha call me cause I can't go....I owe my soul to the company store."

Many have (some, un-be-knowingly) sold out their soul in order to have worldly gain, and fame by "joining" and making "faith confessions" to cults such as Masonic Lodges, Odd Fellows, Knights of Pythias, Modern Woodmen, Alcoholics Anonymous and other orders of men and false churches as the Unitarians, The Church of Scientology, Christian Science, Jehovah Witness, Psychics and others that deny the Blood of Jesus as the only atonement for sin.

2 Cor.6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

The Bible plainly forbids a Christian to have fellowship, communion, concord, agreement or part with those who do not practice (believe and act on) the Word of God. Psa 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, (those that willfully sin) nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful (those that deny the Blood of Jesus, the Deity of Jesus and believe that the Bible is not all truth.) Eph. 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. 12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. The work of these lodges are not fruitful, their work is not to get sinners saved but, they are works of darkness and a false allegiance to even commit crimes in order to protect their fellowship by sworn oaths.

2 John 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. 10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: 11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

Is this the Spirit of Jesus Christ; part of the oath that must be sworn to in order to be a Mason,...furthermore, that I will not have illicit carnal intercourse with a Master Mason s wife, mother, sister or daughter, I knowing them to be such; nor suffer it to be done by others if in my power to prevent it.....real religious, it's says nothing about the wives, mothers, daughters of non-Masons.

In the benediction of a Masonic Burial Service it says; "May the blessings of Heaven rest upon us and all regular Masons", again real religious but, so much different than the Words of Jesus, "take the Gospel to every creature". This proud and arrogant attitude of the lodges directly contradicts the humility commanded of Christians by Jesus as in Mat. 23:5 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments, 6 And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues, 7 And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi. 8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren. 9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. 10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ. 11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant. 12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted. 13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.

Jesus commands not to seek honor from men but, notice the names men call themselves in the secret orders; General High Priest, Grand Patriarch, Worshipful Master, Grand Master Architect, Grand Pontiff, Sublime Prince of the Royal Secret. Do these men that are bonded together with their secret oaths and royal plumage garments, Shrinner's fezz hats, tin swords, etc. remind you of a Christ-likeness or of the Pharisees who make broad their phylacteries and enlarged the borders of their garments? and Jesus said; "Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God. Luke 16:15. Does it remind you of another secret order the "brothers" in white sheets and acting religious by placing on display "flaming crosses"?

Men join lodges in order to be preferred by the "brothers of the secret order" to get favor in business, help in times of financial adversity, old age, and they want their widows and orphans cared for by the lodge because they have paid their dues. Preachers have join the secret order because they feared a time would come when they would need the support of the lodge for them and their families....this is self-centeredness and is the opposite of the teaching of Jesus who said "Take therefore no thought for the morrow" and "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness; and all these things will be added unto you" Mat. 6:33-34. Lodges damn many of souls with a false plan of salvation that denies Jesus and His shed Blood on The Cross. The lodges teach believing in a "Supreme Being", who is the "All-Seeing Eye" that pervades the inmost recesses of the human heart, and will reward us according to our merits.. In an initiation to the order, one is asked "In whom do you put your trust?" and then he is prompted to say (only), "In God" But to trust in a God, or to believe there is a God, without acknowledging Jesus as Savior, will never lead to a "born again life". Jesus is the only way to God. To all the lodge people in the world, The Word of God says; " Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the demons also believe, and tremble." James 2:19. Any demon in hell then could meet the requirements to join a lodge as far as his religion is concerned. But they are not Christians, even though they may be religious acting. Many lodge members are (?) Christians (if showing up on Sunday morning
counts) but, the lodges did not or will ever make one a Christian.....just religious. The plan of salvation offered by the lodges is one for all, the Jews, the Mohammedans, the Hindu or Buddhist, so, it is definitely not Christian.

The Lodges do not pray in the name of Jesus. They teach salvation without Jesus but, by character and good works and recognize the god of Mohammedans or other heathen religions as equal with the true God. When the Lodges quote scriptures they omit the name of Jesus. God says, for Christians to forbid them into your house or your fellowship. This plan "by doing good unto fellow lodge members they will be rewarded favorably in business and blessed in the hereafter." Here is the conclusion of a Masonic burial prayer; "....and in Thy favor, may we be received into Thine everlasting kingdom, to enjoy, in union with the souls of our departed friends, the just rewards of a pious and virtuous life. Amen"

Jesus said to do, as he did, and have nothing to do with anything done in secret or darkness. John 18: "I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing." Mat. 10:26 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. 27 What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops. Lodge oaths forbid this command of Jesus.....in fact they deny, and never mention the name of Jesus.

Jesus forbids oaths. Mat. 5:34 But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne: 35 Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King. 36 Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black. 37 But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil. James 5:12 But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation. Giving an oath is a sin.

Exodus 20:7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

Most oaths involve bloodshed and sometime would cause men to become murderers if they stay true to their swearing as they take God's name in vain in the lodges. Lev. 5:4 Or if a soul swear, pronouncing with his lips to do evil, or to do good, whatsoever it be that a man shall pronounce with an oath, and it be hid from him; when heknoweth of it, then he shall be guilty in one of these. You must confess all oaths as sin and ask God to forgive you in the Name of His Son Jesus, who shed His blood on the cross that sinners might be saved.

The yoke of bondage to the oath to the lodge is so biding that it superceed the marriage vows, the duty to obey the laws of the land, the command of God to "Bear ye one another burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ" Gal.6:2. A mason is sworn under threat of death not to discuss the so-called secrets of his lodge even with his Pastor, whom God has placed over his soul and commanded him to obey, unless the Pastor is a member of the same lodge. The masons are sworn to show partiality to masons and to help fellow masons in any way possible, even to help them to be delivered from criminal punishment including murder, rape, theft, etc. Because of the terrible threat, every lodge member who does not stay true to his vows to the lodge, has hanging over his head the vow that he has taken that he will have his tongue torn out and buried in the sands of the sea at low tide where the tide ebbs and flows twice in twenty four hours. He does not want his left breast cut open and his heart taken out and fed to wild beasts and birds of prey. He does not want his skull cleft off and his brain exposed to the burning sun. He does not want his body cut in two, half to the north and half to the south, and his bowels burned to ashes in the midst. He does not want a spear or a sharp instrument thrust into his side, the mark of the cross in his death. Just as destructive to the damning of souls to an eternity in hell is the programs that claim allegiance to a "Higher power", a 12 step physical and "spiritual works" program, that will, if adhered to, gives a person addicted to alcohol a way to live....a denial of the demonic forces behind these addictions, which is not true deliverance as described in scriptures by Jesus as "casting out devils" Mark 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; You cannot "pet", "intimidate", or argue a demon of alcohol (or any other evil spirit) out of a person.... also, you can lock a person away from alcohol and not get them set free from the probability of them ever drinking again no more than if you locked a person up to keep them from having sex and getting pregnant. It is not a physical or emotional healing problem....it is a demonic problem and must be treated as such...and the only Biblical treatment is deliverance by casting out devils as taught in the Word of God.

There is no other "Higher Power" than Jesus, and the power is in the name, Jesus. If anyone comes to you with a doctrine (power) other than Jesus, it is not of God, it is a deception of the enemy of Jesus and will deceive you into believing a lie and you'll be damned. The devil doesn't mind you coming together in unity with others of the "same likens" at an "altar of worship" and proclaiming to the "higher power", I am an alcoholic and giving glory to the father you are serving (Satan). Prov. 6:2:Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, You should be proclaiming the Word of God as in Psa. 18:2 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. 3, I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies (demons) ..... 17, He delivered me from my strong enemy,(every kind of additions and evil, ungodliness).

Other "higher powers" producing damnation of soul by the millions is the Church of Scientology, Unitarians (exalting of homosexuality), New Age, New World Order, Psychics that tell you that "Ye are your own god" ....."think it and be it" and God says; 1 Sam. 15:23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee. You have obeyed other gods with all their iniquities and you have spent more hours in worship at the altar of the" TV box" than you have in the closet of prayer with me...You have disobeyed God's warning; Lev. 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. 23 Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion. God doesn't even here the prayers of the lawbreakers (laws of the Government included) Prov. 28:9 He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.

2 Thess 2:11 And for this cause, (What Cause?...2:10" ...because they received not the love of the truth, {the truth is that believing on Jesus and obeying His Word is the only way} that they might be saved."), God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Are you calling yourself a Christian, and you have not repented of your associations by oaths to secret orders, faith in anything other than the Lordship of Jesus Christ, I urge you to break the yoke that binds you to the world of darkness and to come out from amongst them and obey the Word of God and be the light of the world. Jesus will make up to you all the loss of friends and business connections by giving you his promise of joy unspeakable.

If you are reading this and you are not sure that you are a child of God, I beg you today to believe that Jesus died on the cross to save sinners, not "good people". We all are, or were, sinners and we must repent of our sin (confess and stop sinning ), ask God's forgiveness by placing the blood of Jesus over your sin, and make Jesus Lord of your life by obeying the Word of God and living a life of a child of God, which is being Christ-like. Jesus is the only way to ever get to Heaven Do not count on your church membership, lodge membership, no "12 steps" program, nor your "good works" The only hope for sinners is obeying the Words of Jesus.
